For more than 30 years, Allied Power Products Inc. has developed specialization in delivering winches, hoists, capstans, and cranes to meet specific application requirements. They have been the preferred supplier of hydraulic winches and systems to the heavy construction, marine and logging industries in the Pacific Northwest. The Challenge

Allied Power Products Inc. relied heavily on old account management system. Being into the industry for over three decades, growing needs required them to integrate their current system and processes with a CRM to avoid making errors, save time, and leverage necessary features to handle the complexities of their account & finance processes. The company needed a centralized solution that could automate all their processes like account management, finance, jobs and reporting while providing real-time insights.

Impact

1. Configuration and Customization:

We worked closely with the client to understand their requirements, configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to align with the company’s specific policies and procedures. CRM customizations were made to their existing system for their various requirements.

Upon transitioning to a new account management system they experienced a varied range of benefits which included improved payroll processes, enhanced visibility into employee time tracking, administration benefits, and tax calculations. Once we successfully implemented Chart of Accounts and General Ledger set up we also implemented posting groups for various accounts to handle transactions from different modules like Sales, Purchases, and Jobs. Defining financial dimensions as per their organizational requirements we did an additional analysis and reporting.

4. Integration with CRM:

We seamlessly integrated CRM with the client’s Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central which ensured a smooth flow of data across the organization.
